The Cimarron MP401 Model P is a single-action revolver reproduced from the 1873 Peacemaker pattern. It is chambered for .357 Magnum and is also compatible with .38 Special, fitted with a 5.5-inch barrel and a six-shot cylinder. The case-hardened pre-war frame and one-piece walnut grip preserve the period appearance while Cimarron’s Cowboy Comp action addresses known weaknesses of the original design.
