The Arisaka Defense 300 Series Light Body is a streamlined replacement body for SureFire Scout M300 weapon lights. It is manufactured without the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp to provide increased clearance for front sights when used with the Arisaka Inline Scout Mount on handguards that have 45-degree mounting surfaces adjacent to the top Picatinny rail. The body retains the underside mounting holes and square lug interface so it will accept Scout Light M300-series heads and tailcaps, including IR-capable heads.
Common applications include range and training use as well as low-light precision shooting and field illumination on rifles where a low-profile scout light setup is desired.
